Supermodel Plastic Surgery Rumors

High-fashion models parade down the catwalks of Paris, New York and Milan, showing off lean, taut bodies and exquisitely chiseled faces. In the pages of Vogue, Elle and other fashion magazines, these exclusive ladies give off an air of perfection that leaves many “ordinary” women feeling downright inadequate by comparison. However, some of these gazelle-like beauties are rumored to have had a little help (or more than a little help!) from plastic surgeons.

Whether the rumors are true or false, it’s safe to say that at least some famous fashion models have gone under the knife in order to get the acclaim that they enjoy today.

Here is a quick guide to some of the most stubborn celebrity plastic surgery rumors related to the world’s most renowned supermodels.

Christy Turlington – Did she have a Nose Job?

When you really stop and think about it, Christy Turlington, who rose to fame as one of the most famous supermodels of the 80s, does have a very, very thin nose that may even look a tiny bit unnatural. Although rumors of Christy’s nose job have floated around for years, photos from her school days and pre-modeling years are conspicuously absent from the World Wide Web.

Alleged friends of Christy’s from the old days swear that this too-perfect supermodel had a drastic nose job before beginning her ascendency in the fashion world. Christy’s elegant appearance, feline eyes, full lips, and refined physique led her to a lucrative Calvin Klein contract as the Eternity perfume girl, and it also led her into the arms of handsome Irish-American actor, Ed Burns (director of The Brothers McMullen), whom she married.

Today, the supermodel still dazzles in front of the cameras as a spokesmodel for Maybelline.

What do you think? Is Christy’s very slim nose God-given, or is it the product of superior celebrity plastic surgery?

Heidi Klum – Did She Undergo Rhinoplasty?

Another supermodel who is plagued by nose job rumors is former Victoria’s Secret angel Heidi Klum, who is currently divorcing her husband (Kiss from a Rose singer Seal). Heidi’s clean-cut German good looks seem to need little adornment, but it’s possible than her tinier-than-tiny nose is actually the brainchild of a gifted plastic surgeon. While Heidi denies that she’s gone under the knife, it’s quite possible that the Project Runway superstar had her nose tweaked through a skilful, long-ago rhinoplasty.

If you’ve ever wondered why supermodels look “better” than other women, their nose jobs may factor in. By turning typical noses into very small and delicate works of art, models give their faces a doll-like beauty that is totally commercial and very appealing to the general public.

Of course, any woman who wants the supermodel look can get it with rhinoplasty that is performed by a board-certified plastic surgeon.
