Can we just say that we called it here long before the story broke everywhere else? The official word is that Clay Aiken, of American Idol fame, has admitted to plastic surgery. The young singer was a guest on a show called Watch What Happens: Live and during a round of questions Clay admitted to having plastic surgery.
Clay, who is currently competing on Celebrity Apprentice, discussed his procedures with the talk show host, “I had operative surgery on my jaw for a TMJ thing and I had them suck the fat out of my chin while they were in there. I was like, ‘You know what, while I’m already down, go ahead and take the vacuum in there and suck the fat out of my chin.”
So we can official chalk Clay up for a jaw surgery – that may or may not have been medically necessary ala Bristol Palin – and we can also sign him up under liposuction. So is that all there is to his new look? We’ve mentioned Clay’s new features before on this blog and discussed the possibilities of the jaw surgery based on rumors which turned out to be surprisingly true.
Clay’s jaw is now squared, sturdy and it makes it look considerably older than he did just a few years ago. But not in a bad way necessarily. Clay Aiken plastic surgery procedures apparently just make him look more like a grown-up ready to wear a suit, which is good because Clay is still holding his own against Donald Trump on his Celebrity Apprentice.
For the record (again), we wouldn’t be surprised to find Clay Aiken’s nose shaped a bit differently or additional rumors of facial fillers – that new roundness to his face must come from somewhere and injectables are all the rage with celebrities these days!
